How to Help

Thank you for your interest in giving to Archbishop Hannan High School. Your act of giving enables Archbishop Hannan to carry on its long, rich tradition of educating. The Development & Alumni staff welcomes the chance to serve you. Your gifts are the lifeblood to all of the school’s primary functions related to Academics, Arts, Sports, Community Service, and Faith. There is nothing more important to us than understanding your intentions, and making sure your gifts are delivered properly. There are a number of ways your generosity can help us meet our operating budget, and fund new initiatives.

How You Can Help

  1. The Annual Fund: Annual Fund gifts are raised from the generosity of alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, foundations and corporations. The monies raised are used to fund our school’s academic and athletic programs, faculty salaries, financial aid, and building and grounds maintenance. The Annual Fund helps make up the difference between tuition and the increasing costs of running a school.
  2. Matching Corporate Gifts: Matching Gifts occur when participating companies match (sometimes up to four times) the amount of dollars given to Archbishop Hannan High School by their employees and spouses, or retirees. The company matches the gift only after the donor has sent his or her gift to Archbishop Hannan along with the company’s matching gift form. These forms can be obtained from the personnel offices of most companies. Check with your personnel office to find what kind of gifts they may match.
  3. The Archbishop Philip M. Hannan Scholarship Endowment: Endowment Gifts are placed in a permanent fund that allows only a percentage of earned income to be spent. The principal is invested. Archbishop Hannan is actively building endowment funds for scholarship aid, faculty salaries, benefits and professional growth, and buildings and ground maintenance. The larger the endowment, the more income Archbishop Hannan High School will have to support the operating budget.
