Basketball

The Archbishop Hannan Boys and Girls Basketball Program is building a tradition of excellence. Fundamentals, hard work and character are the building blocks for the program’s success. We welcome young men and women committed to improving themselves both as players and as people and who understand that the team is greater than the individual. Players will be challenged in a way that not only builds their skills but also their self-esteem, communication skills and relationship with Christ. Archbishop Hannan High School competes in both boys and girls divisions in the LHSAA.  Teams will compete at the 8th grade, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels.  All teams are gearing up for an exciting season on the court.

Girls Basketball Update

The Lady Hawks basketball program is growing quickly!  Going into summer work outs there were 4 returning players from last last year’s squad.  There are 19 Lady Hawk basketball players this season.  There is a lot of potential and room for growth with this team.  These ladies have worked hard in both conditioning and on basketball skills which they plan on showcasing throughout this upcoming season.  This year Hannan will have a full Varsity team and an 8th grade team.  With a small amount of upperclassmen, we have been working on instilling the characteristics of what it is to be a Lady Hawk both on the court and off.  We hope to see alumni, parents, students, and friends come out and support us.
