Academic Scholarships

Archbishop Hannan High School will award a select number of merit based scholarships for incoming 8th and 9th grade students. All applicants must indicate Archbishop Hannan High School as their school of choice and are required to take the Placement Test on the official Application Day at Archbishop Hannan High School. Scholarships will be awarded to students with the placement test scores that meet the criteria for the award. All scholarships are renewable on an annual basis provided the recipient maintains the required cumulative GPA and performance criteria. Scholarship award winners will be notified in writing.

The Archbishop Philip Hannan Scholarship 

$2500 Tuition Scholarship

Criteria:

  • 97th percentile or higher (cumulative score) on the High School Placement Test
  • Indicate Archbishop Hannan High School as first choice
  • 3.75 grade point average
  • Good citizenship
  • Principal recommendation

The St. Thomas Aquinas Scholarship 

$1500 Tuition Scholarship

Criteria:

  • 95th – 96th percentile (cumulative score) on the High School Placement Test
  • Indicate Archbishop Hannan High School as first choice
  • 3.50 grade point average
  • Good citizenship
  • Principal recommendation
