Fine Arts

Mrs PalazoloFine Arts education at Archbishop Hannan is a hands-on educational experience. It is experienced physically, vocally, emotionally and creatively. The fine arts foster an environment conducive to creative development. A strong work ethic, sense of community, confidence and self-esteem is developed through these courses. Our overall goal is for students to enrich their creative, social, academic and spiritual development.

The Fine Arts Department offers a four-year program in choral music, band, dramatic and visual art instruction. This program is constantly evolving and has something of interest to every student.

Choral Music Program

The Choral Music Program includes courses open to students without prior high school choral experience as well as those designed for students who have at least one year of high school choral experience or the equivalent. Opportunities abound for on and off-campus performances.

Band Program

Archbishop Hannan’s Band Program is set to begin in the Fall of 2012 and will offer a variety of opportunities for the music enthusiast. Students will have the opportunity to schedule band classes during their regular class schedule, as well as before and after school.
